Playlist
I got the kids to bed and took advantage of the quiet. I have been wanting to put together a CD of my favorite songs, so I sat down on yahoo music tonight and gathered a bunch of them up. I think I might make a page that includes this as well. I have another good reason for putting my new playlist here ... two of them in fact. One of the dangers of having kids who like the same music I do means that I know at least one of the teenagers in this house will glom onto my CD and try to claim it as their own. Maybe I will just burn them their own copies while I am at it, but I figured I may as well log it in case I need to put together a new copy of it down the road. One of these days I will just go ahead and get myself an Ipod or MP3 player to store my favorites on.
As I was listening to the music tonight, I realized that all of my really favorite bands/singers have a really raspy sound to their vocals that I love... Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, and Hinder especially.
So... anybody want to share their list of favorite songs with a sleep-deprived insomniac tonight?

looks like you got a great list of stuff going there Jenn!
my suggestions - off the top of my head - the whole entire new John Mayer album and Mat Kearney - i also like a bunch of stuff off Grant Lee Phillip's recent album called "nineteeneighties" - he covers quite of few of my eighties favorites quite well
hope all is well with you!
Wow, Jenn,
I'm with your kids on this one, I would love to glom onto your new CD myself!! LOL. Great list! Have you heard the song 'Dream Big'? I cant remember the bands name off the top of my head but it's a great song. I'm going to be using it a video montage I'm doing for my Dd's graduation this year! (sniff)

I enjoy music, but I am TERRIBLE wit the names of song and who sings them. My brain chooses not to retain that information. I'm more the kind of girl that listens to music when I drive and says..."Oh I like that song". I'm so lame. :o)
